From Frank Miller's memoir, I admire the conviction:
Confidence that my ideas are worth pursuing, word by word, picture by picture, book by book, for as long as it takes, or that, worthy or not, right or wrong, I have to pursue them.
Taking another stab at learning Queueing Theory, particularly as applied to inference. The thing that always gets me is how unintuitive / surprising the results tend to be.

Experimenting with a more personal microblogging setup; Twitter & Threads are great at distribution but posting there can be distracting, and it's often hard to look up old posts I wanted to. Starting with the simplest possible thing I can make, and refining as I go.
